Good news! Amazon has just released the new model of the Kindle DX reader. With a big 9.7″ screen it now offers Global Wireless, which enables you to wirelessly download content in over 100 countries and territories (Including Canada, of course). With an extended battery life, you can now read for up to 1 week on a single charge with wireless on, a significant improvement from the previous battery life of 4 days.
This is going to be awesome for people who travel a lot and want to stay connected or take periodic travels. The price is the same as the old US-only version, $379.00.
