I am about to go to abroad form studies and I plan to take my kindle along with me, is it possible to download the books and just sync them to my Kindle. I know the EVDO won’t work outside the U.S.. If anyone can help me out on this then please do. Thank You for you’re time.

I have a Kindle 2, but I don’t have an US credit card. How can I get ebooks without a US address? Or is my Kindle 2 useless for me?
