Has anyone recently ordered a Kindle and gotten it? How long did it take to ship?

I just ordered a Kindle yesterday and I am trying to get an approximation of how long it will take to ship. Has anyone recently ordered one and received it? How long did it take from you placing the order until Amazon let you know that it has shipped? Just curious… Thanks!

    When I bought mine 2 weeks ago, it took them until thursday of this week to ship it. By that time, I’d forgotten about it. They’re experiencing delays due to the high demand for it.
